Cherry Bombe: The Julia Jubilee Trivia & Tasting

Test your Julia Child knowledge! Join us for a fun evening of wine and all things Julia on Zoom! We’ll have a five-round game of virtual trivia, filled with everything you may or may not know about Julia, and you’ll get the chance to interact with teammates from around the world. We will be tasting two incredible wines while we play, from AIX Rosé and Bouvet Ladubay.

About the Hosts:
Cha McCoy is a sommelier, public speaker, and the founder of Cha Squared Consulting LLC, a wine experience company focused on events, tourism, and education. Her event services include clients such as the prestigious, James Beard Foundation, Nantucket Food & Wine Festival, and an appearance on NBC’s Today Show. In addition, she leads Cherry Bombe Magazine as their first Beverage Director & Editor and the latest Brand Ambassador for New York Wine & Grape Foundation. McCoy is a Certified Sommelier with the Court of The Master Sommeliers and WSET Level 3 Candidate. McCoy has been recognized by Wine Enthusiast as Top 40 Under 40 Tastemakers and Wine & Spirits Magazine Rising Black Voices in Wine.
McCoy is very active these days providing virtual sommelier services and curating experiences for her wine and tourism club, Flight Cru (chamccoy.com/flightcru) and providing language learning resources to BIPOC hospitality workers through her program Lip Service, as means for upward career mobility and to unite guest and hospitality professionals. With roots planted in Lisbon, Portugal and Rome, Italy, this native New Yorker is currently conspiring with female chefs, female winemakers, and female distillers on ways to disrupt the hospitality industry on both continents and making food and beverage more inclusive.
Starting in 2007 at The Elbow Room in downtown Indianapolis, Matt “Hambone” Hammond, a former attorney, began writing custom trivia for his friends. He now pursues his passion for interesting things full time as the creator and owner of Hambone’s. Like Dolly, he tumbles outta bed and pours himself a cup of ambition everyday to bring unique, custom-crafted experiences to your friends, businesses, and communities.
