Originally reserved for the family’s private cellar, this exclusive high-end blend is the result of a request by the Swarovski family to create the best wine to enjoy among their friends. Its grapes come from the winery’s oldest vineyards, between 50 and 90 years old. A truly unique wine, it is a special selection of the best barrels of Malbec, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, which results in a harmonious, complex and elegant blend.
40% Malbec, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot
100% 16 months in French oak barrels
Mendoza had a warm start to the year, making an early harvest possible. This year had ideal growing conditions which allowed for expressive and quality fruit. The region experienced less rain, which created more of a balance within the fruit while still giving it a natural acidity.
Intense ruby-red color. Complex ripe fruits, spices and coffee aromas. Expressive on the palate, fruity with slight presence of woody notes. Great structure with a delicate presence of tannins.
Pair with rich flavors like braised meats, osso bucco, mushroom sauces, and sharp, nutty cheeses.
