Tenute del Cabreo La Pietra Chardonnay di Toscana IGT
June 11 was National Corn on the Cob Day: summer, BBQ, and corn on the cob go hand in hand! One of my favorite things is charred corn off the grill with a pat of butter, some sea salt, and a good glass of creamy, buttery Chardonnay. Treat yourselves to a grilled or steamed corn on the cob this weekend with a glass of Tenute del Cabreo La Pietra Chardonnay. This velvety Tuscan Chardonnay is buttery with complex aromas thanks to the twelve-month aging in 50% new oak barrels and additional six months aging in the bottle before it is released. It complements the sweet, slightly nutty, charred, and buttery corn to perfection – Cheers.
