Louis Jadot Beaujolais-Villages
Listening to UB40 Red Red Wine last night and feeling sad as the last days of summer are quickly rolling upon us, so I had to open a bottle of Louis Jadot Beaujolais-Villages, which is my trusty go-to Red, Red Wine! Great summertime red wine, fruit-forward, medium-bodied Gamay that can surely stand up to some of the cru Beaujolais out there. You can’t go wrong with this wine: it is a great value, even tastes better on the second night if any of it makes it that long. Perfect with a burger, charcuterie plate, or just sipping and bopping to some reggae at the end of summer.
