Tenuta San Guido Guidalberto Toscana IGT

Tenuta San Guido, Guidalberto, is often dubbed Sassicaia’s little brother, but trust me, there is nothing little about this wine! It stands on its own merits with its deep red color, red fruit aromas, velvety tannins, earthy herbaceous undertones, and elegant finish. Guidalberto won’t break the bank as most Super Tuscans, and it is a perfect companion for steak, charcuterie, meaty pasta, sipping, and much more – Salute!

60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot

Tasting Notes

A full-bodied wine of intense red fruit flavor and and elegantly supple texture supported by ripe, silky tannins. The Merlot in the blend is expressed in sweet black fruit with overall aromas of ripe, concentrated berries offset by restrained spicy oak notes.

Food Match

Pair with meat sauce pastas and roasted meats.
