Medici Ermete Concerto Reggiano Lambrusco DOC

It feels like we made the transition from sweltering, thighs-sticking-to-my-work-from-home-office-chair summer to chilly, cold-nosed autumn in record time. Anyone feel the same? Regardless, certainly no one missed the memo that fall is officially here! The air is crisp and full of cozy promises, and my spirits are as bubbly as this dry Lambrusco. Medici Ermete Quercioli Secco is refreshing, fun, and pairs with all those fall dishes I’m excited to make and eat: baked pasta, braised meats, cheese on everything, savory squash casseroles. Pop it open to celebrate the change of season, and keep one on hand throughout the fall.

Tasting Notes

Intensely brilliant and pure in both its ruby red color and aromatics, the wine shows a fresh strawberry, raspberry and cherry character. On the palate, dry yet fruity, round, fresh and lively notes are delectably harmonious. Acidity and tannins are perfectly balanced and the finish is clean.

Food Match

Pairs with a wide variety of foods. Delicious with cured pork meats such as salami or mortadella or a variety of pasta dishes such as tortellini or lasagne.
