The Official Champagne of the FIFA World Cup

Champagne Taittinger is proud to be the Official Champagne of FIFA tournaments through 2030. This partnership extension places Taittinger at the center of celebrations for the major upcoming FIFA World Cup™ in 2026 in North America.

Throughout our history—and for over a decade in partnership with FIFA—the Taittinger family and team have passionately and elegantly cultivated close cultural collaborations around the world in music, art, and sport, driven by the dream of adding life to life, emotion to emotion, and celebration to celebration.

“It gives our family and our teams great pride to represent France and its savoir-faire at such global-scale events,” said Vitalie Taittinger, Chairman of Champagne Taittinger. “Sport, football and Champagne share something universal — in every ball and every bubble lie memories, hopes and moments of joy. We are honored to celebrate the FIFA World Cup 2026™ with a limited edition that reflects that spirit.”

Champagne Taittinger Unveils Limited-Edition Bottle to Celebrate the FIFA World Cup 2026™

Champagne Taittinger unveils a limited-edition FIFA World Cup 2026™ Brut Réserve bottle ahead of the tournament hosted across Canada, Mexico and the United States. A striking tribute to the global game, the collectible bottle celebrates the shared spirit of Champagne and football across North America’s historic tournament.

The 2026 bottle features a sleek black finish accented by holographic gradients in the signature colors of the host nations: red for Canada, green for Mexico and blue for the United States. Its design echoes the movement of a ball and the stitching of a football, enhanced by vibrant textures and light effects that evoke the intensity and adrenaline of the game.

In 2024, FIFA and Champagne Taittinger renewed a partnership spanning 13 years of collaboration across both Men’s and Women’s World Cups. Following tournaments in Brazil, Russia and Qatar, as well as Canada, France, Australia and New Zealand, the House will also be present at the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™ in Brazil. Today, Taittinger remains the only French company partnering with FIFA, proudly showcasing French savoir-faire on one of the world’s most visible global stages.

About Champagne Taittinger

Champagne Taittinger is one of the few remaining family owned and operated Champagne houses. The firm is distinguished for its extensive vineyard holdings of 712 acres, including prestigious Grand Cru vineyards in the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims regions. Unlike most large houses, Champagne Taittinger relies primarily on estate grapes for its portfolio of Champagnes. Also unique are the higher proportion of Chardonnay in its wines that gives Taittinger its signature style, and the time devoted to aging the wines before release—most often greatly exceeding the legal requirement, in a practice that also has become a Taittinger hallmark.

The Taittinger estate is one of the three most extensive in the Champagne district. Whereas most large houses purchase the bulk of their fruit from numerous small contract growers rather than owning their own vineyards, Champagne Taittinger is proprietor of approximately 712 acres of vines in 34 different vineyards and draws about 50% of its fruit from its estate vineyards. It is the firm’s major holdings in Chardonnay vineyards—most located in the most prestigious Chardonnay region, the Côte des Blancs—that are the physical expression of the Taittinger philosophy and style.

Meet the Taittinger Family

Vitalie Taittinger, President

Vitalie Taittinger is the eldest daughter of Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger. She has always been passionate about drawing, painting and design, and has a degree from the Emile Cohl School of Design in Lyon. She formed her own business promoting clients in the Champagne and gastronomy sectors, then joined Taittinger in 2007.

Today Vitalie uses her artistic talents at Champagne Taittinger. Her mission: to develop and reinforce the image of the Champagne House. She embodies the unique style of the Taittinger Champagne House and pursues those everyday moments of joy. “As soon as you decide to live your life each day to the fullest, every day will quickly become more special and meaningful”. She lives in Reims with her husband and children.

Clovis Taittinger, General Manager

Clovis Taittinger is the eldest child of Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger. He grew up in Reims, then moved to Paris, where he earned his Master’s degree in history at the Sorbonne and completed business school at the EDHEC, in Lille. After seven years working in banking and consulting, and running his own company in the real estate and hotel business, Clovis joined Champagne Taittinger in September 2007. There, he represents the family’s name worldwide.

Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger, Honorary Chariman

According to Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger: “Having our family name on a bottle places demands and responsibilities on every minute. The name on the bottle conveys both the skills and knowledge of the past and a commitment to the future”. And he has embodied this commitment for 40 years.

A determined connoisseur, hedonist and humanist, Pierre Emmanuel Taittinger, in 2006, successfully bought back the Champagne House founded by his grandfather from the Starwood Group which had purchased it the year before. Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger is a fervent ambassador for the Champagne region, its history and its global influence. He is not interested in accolades or power. “We cultivate vines, not egos at Taittinger”, he often says. A love of the mountains (he refers to his Chamonix home as his “oasis of peace”), Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger is nonetheless a tireless traveller. He is curious about everything and everyone; always enthusiastic about the world around him. Naturally, it is in France where this staunchly patriotic businessman particularly loves to explore and make a difference to the lives of those around him.
