Rev those engines up to 88 and get ready for a blast from the past – it’s Back to the Future Day! In Back to the Future Part II, Marty McFly went 30 years ahead in time to October 21st, 2015. It’s slightly depressing that in reality, we’re already five years past this date and have yet to see any hoverboards or automatic lace-up shoes come to market (what gives, Bezos?). At any rate, if you’re in the mood to kick back and watch a classic trilogy (yes, even Part III), then the St. Francis Sonoma County Pinot Noir is the wine to do it with. Sourced entirely from Marty and Doc’s home state of California, this red gives off aromas of cherry upon uncorking. Pair it with roast chicken or grilled vegetables and you’ll have a meal that’ll make anybody say, “Great Scott!”

Tasting Notes

This ruby-hued Pinot Noir offers an abundance of tart red cherry and baking spice aromas followed by a burst of flavors with notes of pomegranate, juicy strawberry, fresh raspberry and chamomile tea. This expressive wine has a soft and silky texture that finishes with a bit of toasted nut and orange zest.

Food Match

Pairs well with salmon, roast chicken, grilled vegetables and light pasta dishes.
