Day #[wpdts-day-of-year start=”post-created”] of the year.
Bouvet Ladubay Signature Brut
Halloween is a week away, and normally, I’d be touching up my costume and buying last-minute accessories; that’s the fun part of being in NYC for Halloween—everyone dresses up, no matter your age! Since there won’t be any gigantic Halloween bash this year, I’ll get into the spooky spirit with a line-up of Halloween movies paired with this scary-good bottle of bubbles, a Loire Valley sparkling wine made in the traditional champenoise method, like Champagne. I’ll be sure to pick up two bottles, one for now and another for the Big Day, because it’s also a frighteningly good deal.
ORIGIN
Loire Valley, France
Grapes
90% Chenin Blanc, 10% Chardonnay
Tasting Notes
Pale straw in color with fine, pinpoint bubbles, the wine offers toast and fruit on the nose along with crisp citrus notes. Well-balanced acidity culminates in an elegant, persistent finish.
Food Match
This wine can be enjoyed with a wide range of seafood, white meat and dishes prepared with creamy sauces.
