Sip of the Day

Today is “National Call a Friend Day”, even though without realizing it, my friends and I have been doing this for years. No matter where we are in the world, we take an hour to phone or video chat together with (of course) a glass of vino in hand. My wine of choice today is a delicious Nero d’Avola from producer Feudo Maccari. This Sicilian gem has a great balance of floral notes where the orange peel is well integrated with spiced notes of Indian herbs. On the palate, it is fresh, complex, and persistent. A perfect match for a lively conversation!
