Alright everyone, it is time for another… Treat Yourself Tuesday! Today I’m going all in, After all, I’m participating in dry January, and you don’t have to either. Enjoy this life and enjoy your wine, you earned the little victories after the past 11 months. Tonight, I’ll be drinking Tenuta San Guido Le Difese Toscana IGT 2018, made by the pioneers of Sassicaia, this wine is an excellent wine for treat yourself Tuesday. Pair this with a homemade filet and you will forget that we are still on the wrong side of the work week.

70% Cabernet Sauvignon 30% Sangiovese

Tasting Notes

Bright red with purple nuances. Crisp acidity and pleasant palate of every day wine drinking, with juicy red fruits . A very good wine that is meant to be enjoyed young.

Food Match

Pair with grilled steak or steak salad, hamburgers and other casual but flavorful beef dishes. Has good acidity to compliment marinara and bolognese sauces.
