Day #[wpdts-day-of-year start=”post-created”] of the year.

Alta Vista Vive Malbec

November 2nd celebrates All Souls Day or Day of the Dead in many Latin American Countries. While this holiday may not be one that you typically celebrate, there’s plenty of Day of the Dead activities and meals that you can draw inspiration from! I would recommend baking some funky sugar skull cookies like ones that typically placed on alters to commemorate the dead in Mexico. I would also pick up a bottle of Alta Vista’s Vive Malbec 2019 to pair with Chicken Mole and again later with your skull cookies. Baking these cookies will be a fun way to keep Spooky season going, because in my opinion spooky season should never end.

Tasting Notes

This Malbec has intense red fruit aromas, specially plums, with hints of vanilla and a subtle trace of coffee. It is young, explosive and bright in mouth. Fruit and wood flavors can be perceived thanks to its sweet and round tannins

Food Match

Match this Malbec with typical Argentinean food or a tray of cheese and cold cuts.
