Day #[wpdts-day-of-year start=”post-created”] of the year.

Cakebread Cellars Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc

Wine and water are an amazing combination. While I wouldn’t say that wine quenches your thirst, I always recommend alternating a few glasses of water in between your wine. This will help you stay hydrated and mitigate any unwanted effects of excess alcohol intake. If I’m drinking wine, I also prefer to enjoy that wine by a body of water. By the pool, beach, or often in my case, the Hudson River. Now that the weather is getting a little warmer, I’m planning for picnic season! Packing up a basket of snacks and Cakebread Cellars Sauvignon Blanc for the perfect afternoon on a Manhattan pier. This wine is a perfect spring companion for all your by-the-water sips. You can’t go wrong with Cakebread and waterfront views, so get out there and don’t forget to stay hydrated!

Tasting Notes

Surpassingly fresh, vivid aromas of white flowers, ripe melon and citrus fruit introduce rich, zesty flavors of pink grapefruit, melon and guava, leading to a long, crisp finish buoyed by bright acidity and refreshing citrus and mineral tones. Irresistible upon release, this classic Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc will age gracefully for 3-5 years.
