Infamous Goose Sauvignon Blanc
I love tomatoes in the summer when they are in season: in a salad, roasted, Caprese, gazpacho, you name it, I make it and eat it. However, one problem I often have is over-buying at the farmers market, and after a week on the counter (because there is no way I will put my tomatoes in the fridge, sacrilege!), my juicy cherry tomatoes start to shrivel up a bit. There is no waste in my kitchen, so these sad cherry tomatoes are drizzled with EVOO, dusted with herbs de Provence, a few garlic cloves tossed whole with them in the air-fryer at 400F for 20-25min, et voila you have a fantastic appetizer for Friday happy hour! Pair with a crusty baguette or any toasted bread, schmear some fresh goat cheese, open a bottle of Infamous Goose Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand, which balances the acidity and complements the tomatoes and fresh cheese, and you are ready for the weekend – cheers!
