Michele Chiarlo Le Orme 16 Months Barbera d’Asti DOCG
While many people consider New Jersey to be the ‘armpit of America’, I would argue that they don’t know the splendor of New Jersey living. There’s the magic of being an hour away from mountains, having access to an entire coastline littered with beach towns and boardwalks, and enjoying a close proximity to the greatest city in the world, New York. As a lifelong Jersey girl, I celebrate my special state filled with Italian American heritage, the kind where you can go to a sports bar on a Sunday and watch nonni (Italian grandfathers) order penne vodka while watching the games. For every occasion in this state, you can never go wrong with a bowl of pasta (with homemade sauce) and a red Italian wine like Michele Chiarlo Le Orme Barbera d’Asti. Italian Barbera and a comforting bowl of pasta is a staple in Jersey households as an easy meal for a busy family with parents commuting from the city, like mine!
