Pighin Pinot Grigio Friuli DOC
This Pinot Grigio is the perfect mid-week wine for any time of the year. The grape has received a ho-hum rap lately for being nice but one-dimensional, but this bottle is anything BUT conventional—clean, crisp, and vibrant with minerality, it comes from the most famed Pinot Grigio-producing region in Italy: Friuli. You’ll be elevating your weekday dinner to stellar with this refreshing white. And, it will highlight a wide range of easy dishes for a Wednesday night, from chicken to pasta or that pumpkin gnocchi recipe I’ve personally been eyeing.
