Day #[wpdts-day-of-year start=”post-created”] of the year.

Sequoia Grove Napa Valley Chardonnay

Zesty Chardonnay anyone!? (You may immediately think Chablis) However, Molly Hill, Chief Winemaker for Sequoia Grove Winery, does a fabulous job of producing a crisp, yet creamy Chardonnay from the Napa Valley. With tropical aromatics, followed by floral, lemon, and pound cake on the palate, your tastebuds will dance. Pair it with your favorite cheeses or salads after a long day of work. This glass of wine will not disappoint.

Tasting Notes

Very pale gold in color, this classic Chardonnay is the ideal balance of Old World restraint with California sunshine. The aromas and flavors are delicate, with citrus, floral and mineral notes on a wine of fresh acidity and medium body.

Food Match

This is a very food-friendly wine and will go well with most dishes, from appetizers to soups to main courses. Try it with a just-picked spring lettuce and fresh herb salad, or with mature, delicate brie cheese.
