St. Francis Reserve Merlot

Contrary to most normal people in the world, pasta and I broke up for several years when I found out I have a gluten allergy. During our time spent at home this past year, pasta and I have gotten back together, but this time we took it slow and the gods have given me a pasta that’s gluten free. Gnocchi, fettuccini, Shells… the world is my noodle and we’re having a serious love affair. I think my favorite quality about pasta is how easily it pairs with just about ANY wine (the most important quality I look for in a partner). The comfort of plain pasta with olive oil and chardonnay. Saturday nights with Pasta dressed in pesto with a crisp Sauvignon blanc. Tonight, my pasta will be decorated in homemade Bolognaise sauce and we will sit down together with St. Francis Reserve Merlot. Romantic or not, that’s us… and I can tell you we’re very happy together.
