St. Francis Sonoma County Sauvignon Blanc
Today, October 31st, is Halloween! While this Halloween certainly feels different from ones in years past, that shouldn’t stop you from getting your #SpookySzn on. I’ve seen a lot of creative costumes over the years (Ken Bone, a human vending machine), but the best one I’ve ever seen is a group of girls literally dressing as paprika, cinnamon, and rosemary and calling themselves “The Spice Girls”. However, if you’re like me and past your Halloween prime, you may want to consider staying in and unwinding with the frightfully delicious St. Francis Sonoma County Sauvignon Blanc. This white has aromas of melon and green apple and is acidic on the palate. It’s the perfect wine for pairing with your hard-earned (or not) candy.
ORIGIN
Sonoma, California
Grapes
100% Sauvignon Blanc
Tasting Notes
Beautiful and bright, this Sauvignon Blanc offers refreshing aromas of honeydew melon and green apple backed by a cool minerality. Delicate tropical notes lead to a crisp finish of stone fruit and citrus.
Food Match
Excellent as an aperitif or paired with salads, sushi, seafood and fresh, young cheeses.
