At its simplest, sangria is wine mixed with fruit to make a juicy, fun drink that tons of people adore. Some people add honey or sugar, fruit juices, soda, other alcohol, or they might make the sangria with red, white, or rosé wine. The combinations are endless; so if you “don’t like it,” that really just means you haven’t found the right recipe! Sangria is popular throughout Spain, Mexico, and Portugal, but we’d love to share 4 delicious sangria recipes, whether you’re cooling off from the summer heat or enjoying National Sangria Day (December 20) here in the U.S.
