These homemade bow ties along with the thank you tag on a bottle of Prosecco were a huge hit at my baby shower! Every guest was very impressed and extremely excited to take one home. Some even snuck away with two bottles!
STEP 1: The first thing I did to put together these favors was order the thank you tags. I ordered these tags from Zazzle.Com because there were many different templates and they were customizable. I chose a two sided option that detailed my name and date of the shower so it felt more personal. The online process was easy and the tags arrived a little over 1 week after placing my order.
Perfect baby blue label and delicious flavor!
STEP 2: The next thing I did was find a local retailer that carries Caposaldo Prosecco. I chose Caposaldo for a couple different reasons. The baby blue label fit perfectly with my baby boy shower theme. The brand also offers a baby pink Prosecco Rosé that would be perfect for an expecting girl mom! Another huge reason I decided on Caposaldo was the quality of wine for the price – it can’t be beat! I used the retail locator tool on the Caposaldo website and linked it here – it was super easy to use.
STEP 3: To make the bow ties I ordered 4 different pattern paper options along with a pack of Rainbow Loom rubber bands to attach the bows to the neck of the bottle. I first cut the paper into a 4in x 2in rectangle. Next, I accordion folded the rectangles I cut. I cut small, thin pieces of paper to use for the center of the bow. Before wrapping the small, thin piece around the long side of the accordion folded rectangle, I placed a Random Loom rubber band inside. Once the bow was how I liked it, I taped the thin center piece of paper together so that everything was set in place.
STEP 4: Once the thank you tags came in I put the bow ties on each bottle and it looked perfect! I could not have been more happy with the outcome. My guests loved this cute favor and especially loved taking home a bottle of high quality Prosecco!
Cheers!
