Louis Jadot Beaune Greves Le Clos Blanc premier Cru "Famille Gagey"
Pumpkin Risotto
Jennica Ossi

During the fall season, I enjoy pairing pumpkin risotto paired with White Burgundy. It is a match made in heaven. The creamy texture of risotto, infused with the sweet and earthy flavors of pumpkin, is beautifully complemented by a full bodied, spicy, fruit flavors and elegant structured white Burgundy, such as Louis Jadot Beaune Grèves Le Clos Blanc Premier Cru. This Chardonnay wine brings notes of crisp apple and pear that lift the richness of the risotto, adding a refreshing contrast. The wine’s subtle oak influence and buttery undertones mirror the risotto’s creaminess, creating a seamless blend of flavors. This meal is sophisticated yet offers a comforting experience that captures the warmth of the season.

Zind Humbrecht Pinot Gris Clos Jebsal
Pumpkin Bread
Mackenzie Lesher

Pumpkin bread is a fall staple in my household, and this year I am planning on enjoying with a glass of Zind Humbrecht Pinot Gris Clos Jebsal. This Pinot Gris has aromatic, fruity notes of yellow apple, peach, and mango with delectable notes of honeycomb and hazelnut on the finish. While the bright fruity notes of the wine contrast with the thick pumpkin bread, the hazelnut finish of the wine will mesh beautifully with the Pumpkin Spice we know and love. I’ve never been more excited to bake!

Cabreo Il Borgo
Rosemary and Brown Sugar Roasted Pumpkin Seeds
Sophie Carroll

Pumpkin is a go-to, versatile ingredient that always makes its annual comeback in the fall. For a simple and sweet autumn treat, try rosemary and brown Sugar roasted pumpkin seeds paired with Cabreo “Il Borgo” 2018. The earthy, nutty flavors of the roasted seeds complement the wines’ earthy tones. The wine’s acidity cuts through the richness and sweetness of the roasted pumpkin seeds, while its tannins provide a pleasant contrast to their texture. With a silky finish, this wine pairs perfectly throughout your meal and is meant to be enjoyed and shared with friends. Together, this wine and roasted pumpkin seeds are all you need to savor a crisp fall night in good company.

Taylor Fladgate 20-year-old Tawny
Pumpkin Pie
Anna Brenny

No fall season is complete without a delicious pumpkin pie. Pumpkin pie is always what I look forward to most at Thanksgiving, but it can also be enjoyed through the cool months of the year. There is no better pairing than a big slice of pumpkin pie with lots of whipped cream and a glass of Taylor Fladgate 20 Year Old Tawny Port. This tawny is complex and spicy with jammy and nutty aromas. It also has hints of orange flower and an oakiness that comes from the long period of aging in cask. Tawny port is perfect for any dessert pairing or is delicious on its own as well to finish off a meal. The smooth, nutty flavor of Tawny Port enhances the sweetness and spices of pumpkin pie. It is the perfect dessert pairing to end off any fall meal!

Louis Jadot Chablis Premier Cru
Creamy Pumpkin Soup
Hailey Giordano

I love pairing creamy pumpkin soup with Louis Jadot Chablis Premier Cru. The wine’s crisp acidity and mineral-driven notes beautifully complement the rich, velvety texture of the soup, creating a perfect balance. Its subtle hints of green apple and citrus enhance the natural sweetness of the pumpkin, making this my go-to choice for a refined, yet comforting pairing. The wine’s elegance and complexity elevate the dish, turning a simple soup into a memorable culinary experience. Plus, the Chablis’s refreshing finish keeps the palate clean, making each spoonful as delightful as the first.
