Campo Al Mare Bolgheri DOC
It’s Ash Wednesday! And even if you did or did not get ashes on your forehead, I have a fabulous Italian for you to drink tonight. It’s been said that Jesus drank raisin wine during the last supper. This was a common winemaking style for the time and is a continued tradition in certain producing regions. Tonight, I would recommend a juicy glass of Campo Al Mare Bolgheri, a Merlot based Tuscan wine that becomes an instant classic once it touches your lips. Drink something from the home of the Vatican to celebrate the easter season. One ‘body of Christ’ coming right up!
ORIGIN
Tuscany, Italy
Grapes
Merlot
Tasting Notes
The wine shows true Super Tuscan aromas of red fruit and licorice, and rich flavors with a velvet texture on the palate before an extended finish.
