Poema Cava Brut
Cinco de Mayo and National Enchilada Day all on the same day! I am sure most of you are gearing up to celebrate Mexican heritage, culture, and history with a margarita or a cerveza in hand today. However, given my less than stellar experience with tequila, I will endeavor to prepare a Cava-rita instead. What is a Cava-rita, you may ask? Well, it is a personal concoction of 1oz Tequila, the juice of 1/2 lime, 1oz triple sec shaken with ice and all poured into a cocktail glass, and topped off with 3.5oz Poema Cava Brut.
I will report the state of my head tomorrow, but for now, pop a bottle of Poema Cava and celebrate Cinco de Mayo responsibly – Salud!
