On the Bolgherese provincial road, in the heart of the best production of Bolgheri wines, the Folonari family cultivates about 17 acres of Merlot destined for the production of Baia al Vento. It is a vineyard characterised by soils rich in minerals and iron that give the wine structure, elegance and abundance of aroma This wine, characterized by a remarkable density, combines its impenetrable dark color with very rich scents blending blackcurrant and blackberries jam, with savage tones of black truffle. On the palate its volume is exceptional, opulent, with very subtle tannins.
