Joto Sake Yuzu “The Citrus One”

Whether you’re totally new to sake or a die-hard fan, make sure you’re ready for tomorrow, October 1 – cause it’s World Sake Day! It’s the perfect excuse to pick up a bottle and try something new and festive, exactly like Joto Sake “The Citrus One.” This Junmai sake is blended with the juice from the prized yuzu fruit that combines the bright flavors of mandarin, Meyer lemon, and Key lime. World Sake Day, or in Japan “Nihonshu no Hi,” is celebrated annually at the beginning of the 10th month of the year, which marks the first day of sake-making season. Cheers – or, kanpai!

Pronounced tartness, with notes of meyer lemon and mandarin orange. Tart and sweet in the finish.
