Day #75 of the year.

Louis Jadot Chablis

Today is National Artichoke Day! Although it may seem artichokes and wine won’t play well in the sandbox if you choose a wine that’s dry, with nice acidity, and no oak contact, you will find a wonderful surprise. I recently made a lemon chicken with roasted artichokes and paired the dish with a crisp Chablis from Louis Jadot. It was absolutely delicious. The combination of citrus flavors in the wine and marinade plus the zesty creamy texture of the artichokes made for a delightful meal. Cheers!
