Poema Cava Brut
What comes to mind with the word “Cava?” A wine bar in Barcelona, a glass of sparkling wine on white sands in Majorca, or just a bottle of bubbly you’d be equally happy to drink for a celebration or any night of the week? Whatever it is, I invite you to open a bottle of this Spanish sparkling wine—made strictly with the Metodo Tradicional (how Champagne is made!) and traditionally from native Spanish grapes (though not exclusively; Chardonnay and Pinot Noir can go in it)—and make another memory. Poema Cava Brut is the perfect place to start: a true Brut-style Cava, made with indigenous grape varieties and old vines that give it great depth of flavor, it’s fresh and fruity and easy to pair with lots of foods.
