Salviano Castello di Titignano Turlo Umbria Rosso IGT

The Turlo Rosso is the perfectred wine for any spectator of the games. The Turlo vineyards are located on the hills of Lake Corbora’s northen bank at 150 to 380 meters in elevation. The grapes are harvested by hand at optimum ripeness to ensure a rich and concentrated finished wine. This wine shows complex, intense ripe fruit aromas that is rich in a pomegranate color. This wines grapes of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sangiovese create a bold and structured profile, perfect for the powerful themes of a Gladiator saga.

Nardi Brunello di Montalcino Manachiara DOCG

This is the red wine that will have every member of the Roman empire sipping on when watching the games. Tenute Silvio Nardi carefully selects the finest grapes during a manual harvest in the first half of October, making this bottle a remarkable wine. This wine shows intense, complex aromas and flavors of ripe fruit and a delicate spicy component. This bottle is what every Roman Emperor would want in their hands when commanding the games.

Michele Chiarlo Il Principe Langhe Nebbiolo DOC

Il Principe comes from the vineyards of Barbaresco and Vezza d’Alba in the hillsides of the Roero Terroir. The soil of Barbaresco is loose and sandy, with poor organic substances but rich in manganese and potassium. These lighter soils help create a more delicate, aromatic expression of the Nebbiolo grape. Its brilliant garnet red has notes of violet, red fruits, plums and fine spices. This wine has aromas of blackberry and wild cherry flavors, a complex and refined wine that’s perfect for immersing yourself in the historic, rugged world of the Gladiators. 

Bollini Merlot Trentino DOC

This merlot has fragrant flavors of wild berries, integrated with subtle spice and a mellow, medium body. Bollini Merlot comes from Trentino, where its dry highlands are ideally suited for producing clean, elegant and aromatic wines of great charm. Its earthy herbal notes will place you right back in 209 A.D. where Gladiators were monumental, and the Roman Empire was one of the strongest ever seen.
