Despite challenging weather conditions, the 2021 vintage was deemed to be surprisingly good. The early spring was unusually warm and wet, followed by chilly April and May weather with frosts. July delivered some much needed heat, while August was cool enough to delay the harvest. While the growing season was tricky, the grapes harvested were aromatic with crisp acidity.

What The Critics Say...

This is a sparkling wine with a serious side. Bready notes fill the nose, including freshly-baked brioche, bread dough, yogurt, marmalade and lemon peel. The palate is fresh and effusive with notes of development that impart depth. A great find if you can score a bottle. — Reggie Solomon
