WHITE STRAWBERRY LEMON SANGRIA RECIPE

What is better than a delicious fruity cocktail? A whole pitcher of cocktails! As the summer is heating up, it is important to stay cool and hydrated. There is no better way than a crisp glass of sangria on a warm day. While I love classic sangria, it is not the drink I typically reach for in the summer because of the red wine base. The white strawberry lemon sangria is a lighter, brighter alternative that screams summer. Bursting with flavors of strawberry and lemon and subtle flavors of apple and lime, this sangria will shake up the way you see sangria. So, grab these few simple ingredients and become the MVP at the party.

Ingredients:

  • 1 750ml Bottle of St. Francis Sauvignon Blanc
  • 2 Lemons, thinly sliced
  • 1 Apple, Cored & Sliced
  • 1 Cup of Strawberries Sliced
  • 4 oz White Rum
  • 32 oz Lemon-Lime Soda

Directions:

  1. Add lemon slices to a large pitcher, then the apples, then the strawberries
  1. Pour the wine and rum over the top
  1. Cover and place in the refrigerator for 4– 5 hours
  1. Remove from refrigerator and add the lemon lime soda
  1. Fill a glass with ice and add a few pieces of fruit
