Fit for a King and His Court
Curiously, large-format wine bottles get their names from biblical kings. For example, there’s the Methuselah, Nebuchadnezzar, and—the largest—a Solomon (or Melchoir), which holds the equivalent of 24 bottles of wine or 120 glasses.
