The Melting Pot of Grapes

Blended wines are often made by vinifying grapes separately then combining at a later stage. Not so in Alsace! Different grape varieties grow in the same vineyard, are picked at the same time, then are all fermented together. This method creates wines that are true expressions of the terroir.
