Domenica Marchetti is a former newspaper reporter with a graduate degree in journalism from Columbia University. Her recipes and articles on Italian home cooking have been widely published in national publications including Better Homes and Gardens, Cooking Light, Elle Décor, Fine Cooking, Food and Wine, the Chicago Tribune, and The Washington Post, among others. She currently writes a bi-monthly recipe column for the online publication Italy Magazine. She also offers occasional small-group, custom culinary tours and workshops in collaboration with partners she knows well and trusts. She believes in sustainable tourism and travel in Italy, so her tours are limited to no more than 10 guests. Her goal is to give her guests a true Italian experience, and to shine a light on the food and wine artisans whose hard work and dedication keep Italian food traditions alive and thriving. Domenica also teaches Italian home cooking across the U.S. locally in the Washington, D.C. area and online. Her focus is on homemade pasta and regional Italian dishes, all designed to make you a better Italian home cook (even if you aren’t Italian!).
