Celebrate the Class of 2026 With These Must-Try Sparkling Wines

As the school year ends, it is time to celebrate the class of 2026. Graduating from college is a huge accomplishment that deserves a fitting celebration. After years of dedication, sacrifice, and hard work, a party with friends and family is an absolute must. I still remember my college graduation like it was yesterday. My friends and I were popping bubbly all over campus excited for the next chapter of adulthood ahead. The new graduates deserve to toast with something special, so we have rounded up our favorite bubbly to help you celebrate this huge milestone.  

 

Alta Vista Brut Blanc de Blancs

A vibrant sparkler that combines Alta Vista’s French sparkling wine heritage with Argentina’s unique terroir   

  • Grapes: 100% Chardonnay 
  • Appellation: Mendoza, Argentina 
  • Tasting Notes: Bright golden color with elegant bubbles. Well-balanced and fresh in mouth. A white fruit aroma -characteristic of this variety, such as peach and pineapple, provides freshness and vivacity. Balanced acidity, clean and full in mouth, ideal to enjoy in spring and summer. 

Bouvet Ladubay Signature Brut

Crafted in the méthode traditionnelle, this Loire Valley sparkling is made from Chenin Blanc, the Loire Valley signature grape 

  • Grapes: Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay 
  • Appellation: Loire Valley, France 
  • Tasting Notes: Pale straw in color with fine, pinpoint bubbles, this elegant sparkling wine offers notes of brioche, pear, and honeysuckle. 

 

Caposaldo Prosecco DOC

Produced from 20-year-old vines that yield intensely flavored fruit, this is a classic Italian Prosecco 

  • Grapes: 100% Glera (the grape formerly called Prosecco) 
  • Appellation: Prosecco DOC 
  • Tasting Notes: Bright with persistent bubbles, the wine has a fruity aroma of citrus, green apple and acacia blossoms. On the palate, the elegant, brut-style wine has a pleasant acidity and freshness and a soft, round mouthfeel. 

Domaine Carneros Brut Vintage Cuvée

Made primarily from estate-grown, green certified Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes, this bubbly is bottle aged for more than 3 years, yielding a toasty aroma and fine, pinpoint bubbles 

  • Grapes: 49% Pinot Noir, 51% Chardonnay 
  • Appellation: Carneros, USA 
  • Tasting Notes: The wine displays lovely notes of lemon zest, ripe pear, and a hint of brioche on the nose. On the palate this wine reveals nuances of white nectarine, fresh apple pie, lemon meringue, and crème brûlée. Aged in our cellar to enhance complexity and development, this cuvée presents the classic long and round toasty flavor that Domaine Carneros is known for. 

Poema Cava Brut NV

Made with indigenous grape varieties and 20+ year old vines, this a true brut-style Cava 

  • Grapes: 40% Macabeo, 40% Xarel-lo, 20% Parellada 
  • Appellation: Cava, Spain 
  • Tasting Notes: Fresh, clean, citrus, mineral and Granny Smith apple aromas with toasted bread notes make this a great example of Cava. 

Taittinger Brut La Française

As the Official Champagne of the FIFA World Cup™, this is an iconic, luxurious celebratory sparkler  

  • Grapes: 40% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir, 25% Pinot Meunier 
  • Appellation: Champagne, France 
  • Tasting Notes: This wine has a subtle, pale gold color with fine, persistent bubbles. It is delicate, with aromas of peach, white flowers, vanilla pod, and brioche on the nose and flavors of fresh fruit and honey on the palate.
