About the Brand

In 1894, the recipe for Amaro Lucano was first created in the family bakery in Pisticci, a small village in the province of Matera. For over 120 years, Lucano has produced quality liqueurs though time tested traditional methods combined with a focus on innovation. From those humble beginnings in Pisticci, where the Amaro is still made to this day, Lucano products are now enjoyed all around the world.

Made using more than 30 herbs and essential oils, the original Amaro Lucano has a balanced and well-rounded taste without particular peaks. This drink is ideal neat or as the base for a variety of cocktails. As this company has grown in Italy and abroad, they have added new liqueurs to their range of products including Limoncello, Sambuca and Caffè

LUCANO AMERICANO

  • 1.5 oz Amaro Lucano
  • 1.5 oz Rosso Vermouth
  • Club Soda
  • Orange Slice

Preparation: In a rocks or highball glass filled with ice, add Amaro Lucano, vermouth and club soda. Stir gently, then garnish with an orange slice.
