If you are the “wine person” in your family or circle of friends, chances are, at some point, someone gifted you a decanter. It may be a fancy lead-crystal one such as those made by Riedel or Waterford, and it may be in the shape of a duck, swan, snake, or escargot (oh yes, those exist, as do many more!).

Chances also are, that decanter has been sitting in a cabinet or up on a shelf somewhere gathering dust, because either you can’t be bothered to use it or aren’t sure how and when to use it — amiright?

In this episode, you’ll learn why, how, and when to use a decanter — it’s a lot more often than you may think.
