There’s something charming and satisfying when red-checkered tablecloth restaurants serve you a glass of house red filled to the brim. However, unless you’re looking for a 90s throw-back vibe to the evening (and let’s face it—sometimes that’s exactly what we need!), the wine glass should be filled to about three fingers full. This allows the aromas room to breathe, gives you space to swirl, and makes for a more pleasant wine tasting experience. Don’t worry; there’s the rest of the bottle for the next three-finger pour (and the next!).
